Graffiti Art of the Day - hey man I was wondering what someone should do to get practice for street art. If your young, you’re living with your parents in highschool but graffiti is one of the few things that really speaks to you, how could someone get experience in that or be able to afford it even? should i go like rob a fukn home depot or something haha

The premise of this blog is simple; every day I will put up a picture of graffiti that I have come across, either in my travels or on the internet. Why? Because I love graffiti! It gives me something to enjoy while I'm walking along the streets.

I have no experience in graffiti, except that I see it a lot. I don't know any artists by name (unless their tag is easy to read) and I only have a basic understanding of technique.

All photos are taken by me unless otherwise stated. All graffiti is done by random strangers who I have never met (so far, at least).

Hit those streets and start from the bottom boy. It’ll be shit and sometimes you’ll be runnin from the cops, but since you live/breath/dream graff you’ll find a way and you won’t stop. And once you get enough experience, maybe I’ll be posting your photos. It’s not exactly something you take a class for.

Anybody following think I’m full of shit? Think you got some better advice for the kid? Go for it.
